...Artist Bio..

 My name is Caprice Cannon. I was born in 1954 in St. Louis, Mo., but raised in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. I have lived in Sacramento, CA for the past 15 years. I am a disabled Navy veteran who enjoys a reclusive lifestyle. I began studing visual art in 1986,  with focus on "design" and "composition." I have  a diverse background in various 2-D and 3-D mediums, such as: Ceramic Sculpture-Watercolor Painting-Organic Handmade Paper-Collograph Printmaking. I have 3 Art Certificates in Ceramics and an AA in Fine Art from Olympic College Bremerton WA, and BA in Studio Art from California State University Sacramento, Sacramento, CA.
Currently, I am focusing on creating "Animated" Ceramic Sculpture-most consist of wheel thrown pots that evolve into characters and "Organic" Handmade Paper Art-created from recycled materials such as: paper (junk mail, wrappers, and cartons) and organic (yard clippings, vegetable peelings, and weeds) rubbish, that I create into a work of fine art.
